Preschool:

Elementary School:

• Delayed speech – not talking by age one  

• Mixing up the sounds or syllables in long words like hopstical, where my mother worked.    • Left vs right, or is right vs left? 

• Tying shoes  

• Inability to rhyme.

• Dysgraphia (slow, non-automatic handwriting that is difficult to read)  

• Reversing letters and numbers.  

• Cursive writing 

• Spelling even basic words  

• Telling time on a clock or watch with hands  

• Messy bedroom, bathroom, desk, and backpack,  

• Contrives illness so the student won’t have to go to school.
